Day 1
This tour begins in the western part of the island. In the pottery village of Pejaten you can watch original pottery making. An impressive ride takes you along the west coast to Antosari and from there to the beautiful, elongated rice terraces in Belimbing Sari, where a lunch stop is planned with picnic lunch. Continue via Pupuan after Banjar, to visit the Buddhist monastery one of Bali Buddha Vihara and along the north coast to Pemuteran, where you will spend the night.
Day 2
Breakfast is served at the hotel. After breakfast drive to the monkey inhabited Pulaki temple and then on to Melanting temple. The road to the former capital of Bali, Singaraja leadsyou to the black sand beach of Lovina along the way. In Sangsit visit to the rice goddess temple Pura Beji. From there, the road winds high in the mountains of Kintamani, known for its beautiful views of Lake Batur and the volcano Batur. We will stop for lunch in Kintamani. Then a ride to Nachmitags the caldera of Kintamani crater with stops at Lake Batur and the impressive lava fields. Overnight stay will be in Kintamani.
Day 3
Early in the morning the volcano climb begins. After a brief introduction at the gathering point before the two hour long climb begins. Experienced local guides accompany our participants with torch light to ensure safety while on the Batur volcano. At a small hut will serve you hot tea and sandwiches.
Impressive colors of the morning sky await you , in the light of the sunrise with a little luck you will see the volcanic mountains of Bali and the Rinjani volcano on the isle of Lombok and to you will also see lower lying Lake Batur.
In daylight, the guide will take you to the surrounding crater caves, then hike the volcano slopes through lava ash. Raw eggs are easily cooked in a short time at a hot spot. So forget wearing flip flops and wear appropriate trekking sandals or shoes.
Descend through a path near the eruption site from 1994. Then back to the hotel. After a refreshing pause you continue to Besakih Mother Temple and visit of the biggest and most important temple of Bali, on the slopes of Mount Agung home to the mountain gods. Lunch and great views will be provided at the Puri Boga Restaurant. Continue via Selat, along Salakplantagen ( snakeskin plant fruit) to the royal baths of Tirta Gangga. Overnight stay in a hotel in Candidasa.
Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel. Your first visit will be to the bat cave in Goa Lawah, then you can watch the production of traditional Gong instruments in the village of Tihingan . Later that morning, visit the mortuary temple of Pura Dalam Sidan. The provincial capital Gianyar is famous for its art of weaving, there you will be obverse and learn the production of valuable Bali Ikat fabrics. One last reward awaits you in the completion of this tour at the Durga temple in Kutri and a visit the village of Kemenuh, where almost every inhabitant is a wood carver and we will introduce the artists their quality work will be on display. Return to the villa, a connecting loca hotel or to the airport.

WHAT TO WEAR ?
Light shoes or sport shoes versatile trekking sandals , T- shirts or shirt , shorts or skirt.
For excursions that include a temple visit wear shoulder-covering clothing, for the higher altitude regions a light jacket or sweater are appropriate.
For the temple visits a Sarong cloth and a sash is provided free of charge from us. For walks through rice fields wear good sports shoes. For the Batur volcano climbing shoes with anti slip soles should be worn. Mountain boots are not necessary. As you climb you will work up a sweat, so we recommend clothing (lower and upper shirt) for you to change into and a jumper as you may get chilled when you stop.

WHAT TO BRING ?
Ample memory for your camera, batteries and charger (wall outlets are available at lunch stop) for your camera and don't forget sunscreen, a cap or a hat. Drinks, water and snacks we recommend you to buy on the way, we like to support the country 's population and it does allow them to earn a stipend (small as it may be).

PHYSICALLY DISABLED
We give the opportunity to see this beautiful island for disabled visitors (also in wheelchair) and therefore we provide for the physically handicapped their own car for a tour and you can join an existing group or do the trip alone with your guide.

HOW MANY PERSONS IN ONE CAR
On Bali VW Tour the VW THING jeeps are driven exclusively by our drivers, self- driving is not possible. In one car it is possible to sit 2-4 people plus the driver. We normally try to aim for an average of 2 participants and the driver in one car.

RAINFOREST WALK
RAINFOREST WALK On the excursion Tour 2 "The Hidden Bali" is a rainforest hike of about an hour in duration. The path is maintained and easily accessible, sneakers or trekking sandals all you need.
